DQ200 DSG 7-speed automatic from the VAG group.
An incredibly widely mounted transmission in both Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda (VAG).
Unfortunately, the mechatronic system of the DQ200 is known to break down quite often. Often a message appears in the display indicating that there is a transmission problem. It is important to know which fault code is behind this message. In most cases the mechatronic system can be overhauled.
Common error codes ‘s are therefore:
- P189C/006300 – Function Restriction due to Insufficient Pressure Build-Up.
- Complete electronic gearbox failure.
- 005636/P1604 – Internal Control Module: Output Driver IC Error
